For more than 25 years we have been providing folks in Southern New Hampshire with the finest quality prepared "heat and eat" meals. For 10 years, as Humble Pie, we had been dedicated to delivering consistent quality, great taste and ease of serving. And now, as Papa Joe's Humble Kitchen (15 years) located at 237 South Street in Milford, NH.
Papa Joe has been a chef for 50 plus years. From his beginning at the Ashworth Hotel on Hampton Beach, to the Hilton Hotel, to the Corporate Chef for LPM Holdings, where he oversaw 60 Digitals, Sanders, and other corporate cafeterias. He even cooked and organized special dinners for the Boston Pops and Tanglewood! Papa Joe and his family owned The Milford Fish Market from 1995-1999 and then Humble Pie from 1999-2009. In 2009 Papa Joe and his family started a new venture called Papa Joe's Humble Kitchen specializing in delicious fresh burgers. He and his wife, Marcelle, son Travis, and daughter Kelsey, make Papa Joe's Humble Kitchen a true family business!!! Here at Papa Joe's, we make our burgers from our signature fresh ground seasoned beef, scooped, grilled, and served on a classic toasted bun. Our burgers are named after friends and the wonderful people who helped make Papa Joe's possible. From "The Humble Ken", a traditional burger named after a special friend who helped make us possible, (who happens to like his burgers humble with nothing on them), to "The Matt's Steakhouse" (our builder) and one of our most popular burgers. "The Spartan" was created initially for our MHS Spartan Basketball State Champs in 2010 (always half price for current MHS students!!). The "Skip's Cardiac Burger", aptly named for anyone with a big appetite, you might want a nap after this one. And more recently the "Big Nel's Barnyard Burger" (Burger and Chicken Patty) named after our close friend and regular customer.
We also serve traditional Canadian "Poutine" french fries topped with cheese curds and our house made gravy. And don't forget the hand breaded Onion Rings and Fried Pickles! Thursday through Saturday we have fresh haddock...Fish & Chips, Steve's Fish Sandwich, and our Land & Sea (Burger and Fish all on one bun) !!
